Christian's 1st Birthday

Okay, well we made it through. We feel like accomplished parents because we have been able to keep our kid alive for one whole year, he's a little skinny (we are working on that) but he's a live and kicking! We had a great birthday, you can tell Christian is tired, and not quite sure about this birthday business. But since then, we have given him left over cupcakes and he has decided that he approves.

Easter

Technically, this is Christian's 2nd Easter, but he was just a week old for last years easter.

Our Easter had two parts, on Saturday we went to Grandpa Olsen's Farm. We had a bbq and an Easter Egg hunt, we also celebrated Grandpa's birthday.

Easter day was absolutely beautiful! We went to church and Dan sang a solo, he did great. Then we went over to Greg & Ericka's house. We had dinner and made an easter egg hunt for the kids. Christian started to get by the end, but mostly he was busy taking the eggs out of his basket as Dan put them inside.

After dinner we went outside to the front yard and just let the kids go nuts. Christian loved it and did not want to go home. It was one of those evenings that makes me remeber being little and playing the rest of the day away with family.
