Yard Prep and GRASS!!!
Oh our yard! It has seriously been some hard labor!
These first 2 pics are of the yard right after we bought the house, check out the weeds! They were awful!
After much weeding, tilling, raking and more weeding, tilling, raking... we were able to level out the yard. My Dad is super awesome and told us the best way to get your yard level is to get a palate and drag it, who knew it would work so well! But you must be forewarned, you will burn some major calories in the process.
Ah, me and my endless raking!
Look our new tree is sprouting!
Yeah the Hydroseeder's are here!!! Christian was hilarious, he wanted to have the window open and the entire time they were here he was shouting out at them, "WOW! You guys are doing great! Good job you guys!" It was so funny. Christian is especially excited for grass because he knows once we have grass Grandma and Grandpa Anderson are buying him a "park" aka a swingset :)
Now we just have to keep the seed alive until it takes root, this means water 5 times a day for 4 weeks straight! But I'm not complaining, I am excited to have grass.

Wedding Bells!
Well my baby brother Davy and his beautiful wife Lara were finally married! They have been dating for years and she stuck around while he was on his mission. They had a beautiful wedding, they were married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and had there reception in my parents back yard and everything went pretty smoothly. Also on a side note this day was also very awesome because it was the first time my entire family was in the temple together. My mom made sure we had a few minutes after the ceremony to recognize the moment and show our gratitude to the Lord.
The four sisters sporting their converse- Dave and Lara wanted everyone in converse for the wedding, kinda fun.
Humming birds even showed up for the event.
All the cousins on the Anderson side
Grandpa Olsen and Grandma Jo
My Dad working his coral Tuxedo and converse
The happy couple- don't they look great!
They had some seriously yummy food, I couldn't keep away from the cake pops.
The tables were decorated so cute.
Our little family.
Dan and Stephanie (sad that I lost my camera with their wedding pics on it) Christian adores them.
Me and Mom and the back of Lilly's head (Lilly is a good friend of mine and was the videographer for the wedding- she does awesome work!)

Love Hangin' with the Boys
Just like all Mom' s there are moments where you kids, to say the least, drive you crazy! But in general I love being home with them and just chillin'. Here are some pics of us just goofing around.
Dad: "Christian what did you make?" Christian: "Banana cupcakes!" ... of course :)
I don't know... do you think Evan is ready for a nap?
Christian came upstairs with the Cars DVD case around his head...He's a robot!... of course! What a funny kid.
Also a almost daily event, playing with play dough.
And don't you think it's funny how your kids hate being in the car seats in the car, but the second you bring them inside they can't seem to leave them alone.
Just a cute pic of Evan in the doctor glasses.

Gold and Green Ball
Wow May has flown by, we have been busy with lots of exciting things. In the second week of May we headed up to Wyoming where Dan's brother, Dave & Heather, live. We always enjoy going to visit them. Each year Dave's stake puts on a Gold and Green Ball and the invite members to participate in the live music. Being a Duckwitz means you are often a sucker for anytime you can perform, especially with the brothers. This is the second year we have participated and last year I forgot my camera :( They usually have a small turn out and most of the people come just to listen to the music instead of dance, but we have a good time more or less :)
Nathan is Dave & Heather's oldest son, this was his FIRST dance ever! So the girls were determined to teach him how to dance. All through Junior High and High School I think I attend every stake dance I could, they were a blast. I wanted him to feel comfortable enough to go. He was a good sport and let me boss him around, first we danced and I taught him the basics like where your hands go, what to talk about, etc. Then I would make him ask each girl at our table to dance so he got use to asking. Grandma Duckwitz taught him the basic of a jitterbug which was really fun. Grandpa Duckwitz was trying to get him to ask a girl his age there to dance, but he was still a little to nervous for that he kept saying "I'm still a cub at this whole dance thing" by the end of the dance he was telling me he thought he would feel comfortable asking girls his age to dance and that he was now a "Lion" ha ha ha- I love that kid!

My video on my camera is not my best but I was able to get video of one of my most favorite things of the night and that is Norbert and Susan Duckwitz (my in-laws of course) they probably danced to 4 or 5 songs and they were so adorable. Also I was able to catch the boys in action, they sang 4 songs and this is just a taste- they always have a great, but semi-stressful time :)

MORE Allergies...
Just got the results in from the blood test: Dairy and Eggs are "High Risk" and garlic is "off the charts high" the doctor said to avoid them at all costs. We also found out that he is allergic to salmon, tuna, and shrimp. We are suppose to avoid these as well. Oh what fun!
