Oh our yard! It has seriously been some hard labor!
These first 2 pics are of the yard right after we bought the house, check out the weeds! They were awful!
After much weeding, tilling, raking and more weeding, tilling, raking... we were able to level out the yard. My Dad is super awesome and told us the best way to get your yard level is to get a palate and drag it, who knew it would work so well! But you must be forewarned, you will burn some major calories in the process.
Ah, me and my endless raking!
Look our new tree is sprouting!
Yeah the Hydroseeder's are here!!! Christian was hilarious, he wanted to have the window open and the entire time they were here he was shouting out at them, "WOW! You guys are doing great! Good job you guys!" It was so funny. Christian is especially excited for grass because he knows once we have grass Grandma and Grandpa Anderson are buying him a "park" aka a swingset :)
Now we just have to keep the seed alive until it takes root, this means water 5 times a day for 4 weeks straight! But I'm not complaining, I am excited to have grass.

Yay! Now you will have the definite experience of 'watching the grass grow' - remember, patience! ;)
wow! i never knew the process of getting grass in your lawn. I always thought they layed slabs of grass fully grown on the dirt.
Oh yeah, you can lay slabs of grass down on the dirt for about $1500! This way cost $350- got to stay in the budget :)
Nothing sexier than a woman raking dirt!! We are so excited for you guys. I hope the snow didn't ruing anything! We are excited to see the grass when we come home. We love you!
